BTI was born in Mississauga, and has grown here; from humble beginnings in Parveen’s basement, to the 100+ year old heritage house that we now call home. Over the years, most of our clients have been businesses, big and small, who also call Mississauga their home. So it was a true honour to be nominated within 2 very meaningful categories for the Mississauga Board of Trade 2016 Business Awards of Excellence:
Small Business of The Year:
This is awarded to Mississauga businesses employing less than 50 full-time employees, who have a clear plan for future growth of the organization.
BTI was nominated for our past success, along with our recent actions to continue business growth, including our expansion into ethnic marketing and our greater focus on small business with our new Web Toaster business model.
Employer of The Year:
This is awarded to great Mississauga employers who integrate training, education and development for employees, fosters a positive workplace culture, provide fair compensation and benefits, embraces workplace diversity, promotes work-life balance and commits to fostering innovation and growth.
We have always been proud of our unique team culture at BTI. We strive to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and creativity; where employees feel empowered to share ideas, try new things and stay up to date with the latest industry trends.
The event was a classy, entertaining affair with delicious food, great company, and inspirational speakers. It was a proud moment to realize just how commendable the business people of Mississauga are, and how much they truly care about making, and keeping, this city great.
There were many great nominees across all categories, and though we did not win our categories, it was an honour to be considered among such a high caliber of businesses. Congratulations to all this year’s Winners.
