Apart from the tolerable weather, family BBQs, and a whole lot of sunlight, every year our Canadian summers bring us one more thing to look forward to. Awards Season! Our team won big at the 2019 Hermes Awards, having bagged 3 Platinum and 2 Gold awards.
Team BTI is both flattered and proud to be recognized by Hermes Creative Awards for the second year in a row, and we’re so excited to show you what more is to come this year.
We have been awarded Platinum Awards for some of our favourites:
An annual B2B experiential training program, hosted by Whirlpool, for its retail sales associates across Canada.
BTI joins one of our oldest clients, Whirlpool, on the road for the entire journey. Backed by our event management excellence, BTI handles all planning, design, organization, execution, and production of promotional assets.
PEEL HIV/AIDS Network (PHAN): IDAHOT Campaign
The Peel HIV/AIDS Network needed help creating awareness around their International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT) event, which serves to shine a light on 2SLGBTQ+ human rights violations, including pervasive discrimination and acts of violence. BTI was asked to develop a theme and marketing materials for the event that conveyed a sense of inclusiveness and belonging for youth within the community. BTI worked with PHAN to develop a focused strategic plan, development of the theme “We Belong, Voices of Youth” and creation of all digital and print marketing collateral to support the annual breakfast event.
Canada Beef: "You're a Beef Lover" Campaign
After developing The Round Up App for Canada Beef to provide a comprehensive tool to help beef lovers learn more about different cuts and ways to cook beef, BTI needed to keep the app top of mind and promote ongoing downloads and engagement. BTI supported Canada Beef’s integrated marketing strategy by developing the “You’re a Beef Lover” campaign, relating to a particular customer segment with humour to drive app installs and awareness around the app. After just 2 months, app downloads increased by over 35%.
Whirlpool United Way Campaign
BTI and Whirlpool partnered to produce a successful fundraiser, “The Great Fundraiser of 2018”, with proceeds benefiting United Way. The mission was to develop a corporate communications campaign that would motivate employees to continue to participate at a high level despite the reduced number of fundraising activities. Donations far exceeded expectations and concluded another successful year.
Our vision and hard work put into creating our own agency’s website was recognized and we are thankful for that. Our site was built to reflect our identity as connectors who inspire change and strive for innovation with killer ideas!
We are truly honoured and grateful to be acknowledged for the work that we love to do. We are always advancing and improving, and we’re so excited to show you what we’ve got cookin’ in 2019.
