Challenge

Create, manage and organize a national themed roadshow event to showcase new product innovations and empower retail sales associates with product knowledge through hands-on training.

Solution

Build all communications around the MISSION: POSSIBLE theme starting from save the date and invite email blasts directing sales associates to a registration website. Upon arrival attendees were provided a mission card and a brochure reinforcing the key training messages. The attendees were kept engaged in the main presentation room and trained in separate focused training rooms.

Result

The 2012 national event was the most attended training roadshow in Whirlpool Canada's history with over 4900 sales associates in attendance. As a result, sales associates across Canada are confidently selling Whirlpool, Maytag and KitchenAid appliances. Post event surveys indicated a 94% extreme satisfaction rate amongst attendees.
